Om Swasti.
嗡 娑 諦
The right-turning conch of pure compassion in body, speech, and mind. Pours forth a stream of good intentions that never change.
三密白右螺，坚净心力奏；
ཟླ་མེད་གྲགས་པའི་དབྱངས་སྙན་རྣ་བའི་རོས། དགེ་ལེགས་ཤིས་པའི་པངྨོ་འཛུམ་འགྱུར་ཅིག།
Thereby, may a sweet, resonant melody beyond compare, such music for the ears, open the lotus petals of virtue, excellence, and goodness.
无比妙乐音，愿喜祥莲颜。
༢ མ་སྨད་མཚན་གྱི་དཔག་བསམ་བདུད་རྩིའི་ལྗོན། དྲི་མེད་ཡོངས་འདུའི་བསུང་ཞིམ་མངར་བའི་དབྱངས།
It has the supreme name of the Wish-Fulfilling Tree, the ambrosial one. Musical tones of this flawless tree,granting every wish, are dulcet and pleasing.
优胜繁茂树，遍净美香音；
གཏན་པདེའི་ནོར་བུའི་འདབ་བཟང་པར་པུར་ཅན། རྣམ་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་ན་རབ་ཏུ་མཛེས་གྱུར་ཅིག།
Throughout its branches gems of lasting happiness nestle among their leaves. Sovereign in our realm, may the world be resplendent with the beauty of this tree.
宝乐叶累累，胜利愿庄严。
༣ ཞི་བསིལ་གངས་རིའི་མེ་ཏོག་མངར་བའི་ཕྲེང་། སྤོས་དཀར་བསུང་ཞིམ་འཐུལ་བའི་སྨན་ལྗོངས་སུ།
A string of fragrant flowers, these snow mountains are tranquil and fresh. In a healing land where white incense rises sweet,
清凉雪花蔓，布乳香药域；
ལུགས་གཉིས་ཟླ་ཟེར་སྣང་བའི་འཇོ་སྒེག་གིས། ནག་ཕྱོགས་མུན་པའི་གཡུལ་ལས་རྒྱལ་གྱུར་ཅིག།
May the gracious beauty of luminous moonbeams, light of the spiritual and temporal worlds, conquer all strife, this darkness of the shadow side.
日月二耀光，灭暗获胜利。
༤ གངས་ལྗོངས་བསོད་ནམས་དགའ་སྟོན་སྣང་བའི་དཔྱིད། འཕགས་མཆོག་ཕྱག་ན་རབ་དཀར་པངྨོ་འཛིན།
Inspiring festivals of merit in the Land of Snow, you are the Supreme One holding a pure white lotus.
雪域福喜日，圣持纯白莲；
མཚན་དཔེའི་འཇོ་སྒེག་ཡིད་ཅན་མིག་གི་ཏེར། རབ་བརྟན་རྡོ་རྗེའི་ཟླར་འཕྲོས་གྱུར་ཅིག།
With the beauty of all good qualities, a treasure for eyes to behold, may your life be long, steadfast as a diamond vajra.
相好如意眼，显耀金刚徒。
The most excellent virtue is the brilliant, calm flow of culture: those with fine minds play in a clear lotus lake;
经藏缓旭日，游戏莲湖蕊；
ལེགས་ལམ་གེ་སར་སྦྲང་རྩིའི་དབྱངས་སྙན་གྱིས། ཤེས་བྱའི་དཔལ་གྱི་ཟིལ་དངར་འཐུང་གྱུར་ཅིག།
Through this excellent path, a songline sweet like the pollen's honey, may they sip the fragrant dew of splendid knowledge.
善慧得蜜音，畅饮学识露。
༦ གཞན་ཡང་འཛམ་གླིང་ཡངས་པའི་ནོར་འཛིན་ཁྱོན། མི་ཕམ་ཕན་དང་བདེ་བའི་གྲིབ་བསིལ་གྱི།
Over the expanse of the treasured earth in this vast world, may benefit for beings appear like infinite moons' reflections;
如是广大地，永胜乐清凉；
གཞན་ཕན་ཟླ་གཟུགས་བགྲང་ཡས་ལེགས་འཆར་བས། ཞི་བདེའི་ཀུ་མུད་དགའ་ཚལ་བཞད་གྱུར་ཅིག།
Their refreshing presence brings lasting welfare and happiness to open a lovely array of night-blooming lilies, signs of peace and joy.
利众月荫现，愿令月花喜。
༧ ཚོགས་གཉིས་སྤྲིན་དཀར་བླ་བྲེ་ལས་འོང་བའི། བདེན་ཚིག་མུ་ཏིག་གྲུ་ཆར་སིལ་མ་ཡིས།
Descending from a canopy of white clouds, the gathering of two accumulations, may these true words, like pearled drops of light or pouring rain
福慧二云生，真谛珍珠雨；
རིས་བྲལ་སྐལ་བཟང་གདུལ་བྱའི་སྐྱེད་ཚལ་དུ། ཕན་བདེའི་གེ་སར་དགོད་པའི་གཉེན་དུ་ཤོག།
Falling in a lovely park where fortunate disciples are free of bias, open the flowers of friendship and let well-being and joy blossom forth.
湿润具贤田，令素成安蕊。
དེ་ལྟར་སྨོན་ཚིག་ལྷག་བསམ་གྱི་བསུང་ཞིམ་འདི་ནི། ཨོ་རྒྱན་འཕྲིན་ལས་སུ་འབོད་པའི་མགྲིན་བཟང་གླང་པོའི་བརྟུལ་ཞུགས་ཅན་གྱིས་བོད་ཡུལ་ནས་བཙན་བྱོལ་དུ་ཡོང་སྐབས་ནུབ་ཅིག་འཁྲུལ་སྣང་ལ་ཟླ་ཟེར་དངས་མའི་ཆུ་གཏེར་མཚོ་སྐྱེས་ཀྱི་འཛུམ་ཕྲེང་གཡོ་བའི་གདན་ལ་རབ་དཀར་དར་གྱིས་མཛེས་པའི་བྲམ་ཟེ་གསུམ་གྱིས་རྔ་བོ་ཆེ་དང་སྒྲ་སྙན་གླིང་བུ་ལ་སོགས་པའི་དབྱངས་སྙན་འཇོ་སྒེག་གིས་རྩེན་པའི་གླུ་དབྱངས་འདི་ལྟ་བུ་ཞིག་ཐོས་འཛིན་གྱི་ཡུལ་དུ་གྱུར་པས་བོད་ཁ་བ་གངས་ཅན་གྱི་སྐྱེ་གྲོ་སྤྱི་ལ་ཕན་པའི་ལྷག་བསམ་གདུང་སེམས་ཀྱིས་རྩེ་གཅིག་ཏུ་སྨོན་པ་བཀྲ་ཤིས་ཁ་བའི་ཕྲེང་མཛེས་བྷོ་ཊའི་ཞིང་དུ་མ་སྨད་ཐུགས་བསྐྱེད་ཀྱི་ཉི་ཟེར་མྱུར་དུ་འཆར་བར་གྱུར་ཅིག། ༢༠༠༠།༡།༢༤
These words of aspiration, sprung from a sincere intention, were written down by Ogyen Trinley, the one who bears the noble name of the Karmapa, while he was escaping from Tibet. One night in the illusory appearance of a dream, there arose a lake bathed in clear moonlight and rippled with blooming lotus flowers that served as a seat for three Brahmins, wearing pure white silk and playing a drum, guitar, flute, and other instruments. Created in pleasing and lyric tones, their melodious song came to my ears, and so I composed this aspiration prayer with a all the people of Tibet. Within a beautiful, auspicious chain of snow mountains, this land of Tibet, may the sun rays of this supreme aspiration for awakening swiftly appear.
此意樂甜美之願文，乃向鄔金欽列多傑呼喚之大象仙人，從藏地到達險地之側時，於一夜晚顯現幻相：月光明亮水塘中，蓮花花蔓搖掖之座上，極白淨絲綢所莊飾的三梵志大鼓，以及美妙笛音等媚麗的樂音，如嬉戲之歌聲般，聞此歌聲心悲憫故，至心生起利樂西藏雪域所有眾生之意樂，願於此吉祥雪幔所嚴的佛境中，無上發心之日光速顯現。2000年1月24日。
