ད་རེས་སྟོན་པ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་འཁྲུངས་ཡུལ་ནེ་པལ་དུ་བཞི་པའི་ཉེར་ལྔའི་སྔ་དྲོར་ས་འགུལ་ཚབས་ཆེན་བྱུང་སྟེ། སྐྱེ་བོ་སྟོང་ཕྲག་དུ་མར་ཤི་རྨས་དང་། ལོ་རྒྱུས་ལྡན་པའི་ཁང་པ་དང་། ཁྱིམ་གཞིས་ཞིག་རལ་དུ་སོང་བའི་ཡིད་སྐྱོ་ཞིང་སེམས་སྡུག་པའི་གནས་ཚུལ་ཐོན་ཕྲལ་རང་ངོས་ནས་འཇིགས་པས་ཉེན་པའི་གང་ཟག་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་བསྔོ་སྨོན་གང་ཟབ་ཞུས་དང་ཞུ་མུས་ཡིན། ཉམ་ང་བའི་འཇིགས་པ་མདུན་དུ་ལྷགས་པའི་ཚེ། རང་རེ་རྣམས་གོ་མེད་ཚོར་མེད་དུ་མི་སྡོད་པར་གདུང་ཤུགས་གཅིག་དྲིལ་གྱིས། སྐྱིད་སྡུག་གི་ཁུར་པོ་མཉམ་འདེགས་དང་། སྙིང་སྟོབས་ཀྱི་སྒྲོན་མེ་སྤར་རེས་བྱེད་གལ་ཆེ་ཞིང་། བལ་ཡུལ་དུ་ཡོད་པའི་ཀར་དགོན་རྣམས་ནས་ཀྱང་རང་རང་གི་འཇིགས་སྐྱོབ་ལས་དོན་ཚགས་ཚུད་ཅི་ཡོང་དང་། ཐག་ཉེ་འགྱང་གི་མི་དམངས་རྣམས་ལའང་མགོན་སྐྱོབ་ཅི་ནུས་གནང་གལ་ཆེ་བ་དང་། རང་ཉིད་ཀྱང་དེ་གར་སེམས་གསོའི་ཚུལ་དུ་རིང་མིན་ངོ་བཅར་ཐུབ་ཐབས་ཞུ་རྒྱུ་ཡིན།
Today, in the morning of the 25th of April, in Nepal, the land where Lord Buddha was born, there occurred a devastating earthquake. Many thousands of people have been killed or injured, and historic buildings and private homes have been turned into ruins. As soon as I learned of this painful and distressing situation, I made my deepest aspiration prayers and dedications for all the people affected, and continue to do so. Especially at times when we are faced with such a desperate situation, we cannot sit idle, unfeelingly. We must join forces and carry the burden of sorrow together. It is important that each one us light the lamp of courage. Additionally, it is important that each of the Karma Kagyu monasteries in Nepal, while looking after their own pressing needs for immediate protection, also extend any and all aid and protection they can to the public in their surrounding communities. From my own side, I will make every effort to come personally in the near future to offer my solace and support as well.
這次世尊佛陀出生地尼泊爾發生了極大的地震，已有上千人罹難。得知許多歷史古蹟與民宅皆倒塌傾毀等令人傷心難過的消息，我正盡力為著身處險境的人們迴向祈福。恐怖險難當前，我們不能無動於衷，而應感同身受的去同擔苦樂且燃起奮勇的燈火。所有噶瑪噶舉寺院，若已暫離恐怖險境，則應盡力救助周圍民眾。我也在此支持鼓勵著大家，且盡快安排能與各位見面。
